Mommy, it’s been a little over a year since you made your transition to heaven. I thought grief would get easier with time, but the truth is, I miss you more each passing day. I’ve never felt a loss like this.. and I’ve never experienced depression until I lost you. You were the best mom I could’ve ever asked for. I know you’re looking down on me, telling me how proud you are and reminding me to keep going because you’re finally at peace, free from pain, dancing with angels. And while I’m grateful you’ll never feel pain again, I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t still sad, or even angry sometimes, that I won’t get to dance with you again. Still, I thank God every day for choosing you to be my mom. Our memories are what hold me together. I’ll always cherish them and you. Love you forever. Rest in peace 🤍
